Pakistan Fuel Prices...

I've just read on the gasoline-germany.com site in 2007 Diesel was €1.19 per ltr, seems very steep... can anyone confirm diesel is so expensive there ? any ideas on price per ltr in India...

I'm preparing budgets for an overland trip to India and took an average of European prices, around €1.10 per ltr hoping after Turkey everything became a lot cheaper.

Thanks in advance

Matt

Eh? When we were there in Aug-Sep 2007, it was about 35-40 PKR/litre for diesel (and there were 120 or so PKR to the GBP)

Now it's more like this:-

Fuel prices in Pakistan are revised every month. Currently diesel is being retailed at Pak Rs 74/ liter while petrol is a few paisas cheaper.
