Nepal into Tibet
Hi all
This is actually relating to a car and not a bike, so sorry if this is a hijack. We are overlanding through Asia, and Tibet and China draw ever closer but I dont fancy shelling out 6000 US for a guide and entry permits just for us in 1 vehicle - we wanted to go from Indi to Nepal and then into Tibet and from there through China to the rest of SE Asia. Is there anyone we could team up with who is planning to travel that route, or can anyone recommend the best 4x4 overland forums for me to post a message on? Needless to say, I have done a lot of looking on the internet but havent had much luck. Mark

I don't know what it cost them, but some motorcyclists have used this company in Nepal to arrange papers for Tibet.
It couldn't hurt to ask them about their prices. http://www.sacredsummits.com.np
