Nepal - China - Laos - Guide Or Shipping India / Bangladesh to Malaysia

Hi we are trying to decide which route to route to take from India to Southern Asia (Malaysia / Laos) in our 4x4, they will both cost us and we would rather go through Tibet China if we could. But so far this seems a bit too expensive.

Nepal - Tibet China - Laos
Has anyone done this and has any recommendations of a reasonably priced company who could arrange travel permits and guide?

Shipping India to Southern Asia (Malaysia / Laos)

Do you know how much it would cost, or could you recommend a shipping company either in Kolkata or Bangladesh?

Many thanks

Martin

I can provide you with shipping details and contacts from Chennai to Kuala Lumpur, for a 6 cubic meters crate. The cost was about 500 euros with Boxcoworld. Please MP if you are interested.

Be kind to other travellers and share your experience: post it into the shipping database on the left. Thanks.

I've done it as soon as the shipment was over. But due to site reorganisation, as I was told, the full report i wrote has not been yet put online...

Oops. That's very good of you. Pity this re-org is taking so long. Perhaps you could just post the contact details of the shipping co. somewhere. Unless you have done that already, too.

Freighting out of Chennai or Kathmandu certainly will be a lot cheaper than the guide and hassles with China. The question is if you're willing to pay the price to see Tibet etc
