shipping motorcycles back to Europe from New Delhi. By ship.

Hi everybody,
does anybody know a good and reliable shipping agent based in New Delhi to suggest me?
I'am trying to organize a trip from europe to India during 2009 and the plan is to ship a couple of motorbikes back to Italy at the end of it.
I had a good experience from Dakar to Genua in 2007 with Messina Spedizioni, hiring a small container.
I'd like to avoid air-shipment, being too expensive and need to dismantle half of the bike!
Maybe someone had some good address to let me know?
Many thanks
Roberto

There's quite a few and reliable agents available. You can go look in the karol Bagh market in New Delhi or you can check lalli singh.com or PARDESI MOTORS - FOR ALL YOU ROYAL ENFIELD BULLET NEEDS

They are in business of renting, selling and rebuilding bullets. But can also do the shipping.

to give you and idea of price i'm in the middle of shipping my bike back to the uk from amritsar and it's costing me around 15,000 rupees including crating, pick up etc, and i dare say you could find a bit cheaper as i'm going for ease of setup seeing as my arm and face are full of metal reinforcing plates after tangoing with a truck

i used lalli singh for my bike in 2003. from delhi, crated, shipped to bombay and then on the ship. with lalli, you can trust him. he cares about his reputation. i paid him, left my bike and in 2 months it was in miami. about us$500 for all of it. there are cheaper i am sure. but trust is important.

Hi All

Kaulson Racing in Delhi shipped our bikes back to UK for us in 2006. They regulary import superbikes and export Enfields.

Pretty cheap price as well from what I remember

We never had any replies to our numerous messages and emails to Lalli Singh

Good Luck

To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
