I am moving to Singapore in a few weeks. Then in Feb I will move to Bangkok. Do any bikers on the HUBB have any advice? Any cool places to go etc? Chris |

There are some great biking roads in Thailand. In Bangkok there is a big bike scene, with an owners club for whatever make you have.I went on a weekend run with the Bangkok Triumph owners club, and had a great time. The roads are, petrol is cheap, and the drivers are generally not too bad.

Hi Chris
I've recently returned from 6 months in mainly Thailand, hiring 125's to explore the northern mountain areas on. You're going to have to get out of BKK to find any "biking" roads but I'm sure you'll have fun. I have some friends in Korat (2 hours NE of Bkk) and i spent some time there about this time last year. There's a disused track 45 mins outside Korat and if you pay the lady who looks after it 200 bt she'll chase the buffalos away and let you ride around all day. In my opinion the best biking is to be found in the north; Chiang Mai has a big biking scene and there are some amazing roads from there on. The Thai/Burmeese border around Mae Sai and the Golden Triangle is good and from Mae Sai heading west and then south to Mae Sot following the Burmeese border is great. Check out the web site Motorcycle Touring & Maps: Thailand : Laos : Golden Triangle have fun Kev |

Cool
Thanks, it looks like I will be living between Singapore and Bangkok until Feb. At that time I will be moving to Bangkok full time. I'll give you a PM when I settle in Singapore; later this month.
