Leh - Alternate Road OK
 
I'm in Leh at the moment and only had a little problem getting over the Rotang Pass where it was a little Muddy. if they can get a 800cc 2 wheel drive car over, i'm sure most people can manage with a little push also. (just like the Enfields...)


The main road to Leh is closed, HOWEVER the alternative road to leh is open and did not require extra permissions to drive down it. A little longer in distance but a nice mixture of paved and unpaved road.

Leh is open for business as usual, with a little power and internet connection unreliability, but means there are great deals on Hotels.
