Hiring a sidecar in India!

Hi,
in 2015 I've two months time to travel through India; in that period is my plan to drive through the mountains, direction Leh, then going to Nepal and back to Delhi. There are so many things to see, tast and experience and I want to take the time to do so!
I need to use a sidecar cause of a leg prothese, and I'm looking to rent/lent or buy a Enfield sidecar in or around Delhi. Does anyone has information where? I've checked the internet offcourse, but there is not much information unfortunatelly.
Hopefully somebody can help me out! I drive sidecar since 2000 for app. 200,000 km now, so I do have an idea how a sidecar works!

Thanks everybody!

Various sites have video of Indian traffic .. you certain you want to experience that on a sidecar - fitted on the left (as that is the side they drive on).

The other problem is altitude .. the sidecar will suffer more with altitude due to the thin air and steepness with weight.

For the above reasons you may not find a sidecar .. well less easily than you'd expect? If you are determined then I wish you the best of luck, with a relaxed attitude it should be fun.

Try Tripadvisor

Hi mate,

Try Tripadvisor India list of local vendor in New Delhi and only contact those which have like 100+ reviews as these guys are more scared of bad service because that will turn into a negative reviews and loss of business for them.

I am in India now and dont think so that there are many sidecar rentals available here. Indian traffic is very bad and you should be very careful. Also about travel insurance coverage.

I am not sure that there is a popular bike rental firm in Delhi as most of those who lend bikes, don't consider this as their main business. But I would suggest to contact some old guides, especially the one listed on Viator as they can connect you with some good champs.
