Help with Bhutan itinerary

I am planning to ride to Bhutan this year and would like to see as much as possible in a week or so. I know the time is too less but every one has constraints that one has to adhere to.

While I would love to visit normal touristy places, I would surely like to visit places which are off the tourist maps and would give my bike’s suspension a good workout .

Travel in Bhutan

Hello Yogesh,

I have recently spent four days in Bhutan, which is without doubt one of the more spectacular and enchanting countries I have visited.

We planned to ride all the way across the country, from west to east, this would need no less than 10 days but would fufil all your requirements.

We did not in the end, due to the cost ($US180/person/day). This cost does however included ALL expenses and I do not regret a penny of it, I can highly recommend Teshering Dhendrup at ABC travel in Thimpu, who will tailor any trip for you.

Thanks nick, I am also planning to spend at least 10 days in Bhutan in hopes of covering it properly. Thankfully Indians don’t have to pay US$ 180/day fee and we are pretty much free to roam on our own, which I intend to do.

Bhutan...

Hi Nick,

I was just reading your post about your trip in Bhutan. Did you went by own transport (your motorbike)? Or did you have to join a group/minivan or something like that? At the end of this year I'll planning to drive my motorbike from Holland to Delhi. But I love to squeeze in Bhutan at the end. Has the company you mentioned a website or email address?

I'm looking forward to your reply.

greetings,

Roland
