Hi Just a note to let you know that getting petrol of any grade seems to be a difficult task in Uzbekistan at the moment. Most stations closed and the occasional open one has huge queues it has been 76 octane.

It was the same way back in July/August. Locals told me it was something about gas prices going up in October (this has not been independently verified). Ask around when you are in larger towns and you may be able to find some 93. That's how I got it in Buhara. I found a couple stands in Tashkent and one in Samarkand that had 93.
