driving around in south east
hey guys,
afther some research on this forum, it looks like i can buy a bike in thailand (did that last year but shipped it to india), register it there and drive around in south east asia without a carnet (except from burma and VN)..i even dont need an insurance... can anbody confirm this? i wanna do a round asiatour from thailand to laos, into cambodia, malasya and then indonesia and back.. is it going to work? note that i will buy a 250cc cross and while have thai plates. any tips or advice welcome greetz niels
