Custom agent in Delhi or Mumbai?

Hi everyone. I'm currently stuck in Almaty looking for a shipping agent to get my bike to either Mumbai or Delhi (I was planning to do the trip by bike, but the whole devastating situation in Pakistan made me think twice).

I already have a shipping company -expensive as hell- that can arrange the cargo, but I'm really scared about India's customs. Does anyone know a "fixing" guy that can make me go through the paperwork/brive/etc. process?

Thanks.

Hi there.
I am off on a trip at the end of this month from London to India taking in Europe, Iran, Pakistan and finishing in India. I have been watching the situation too. I will get to Istanbul and reevaluate from there. On the subject of shipping I contacted James cargo on:01753687722. They ship from the UK but have contacts everywhere. Give them a call as they have been really helpful when I called.
All the best on your trip.
Mike

Hi Fabian,
This trip is certainly doable with minor changes like taking the Babusar route. Dont miss it as traffic is flowing. Even flights are operating from Gilgit and Skardu.
Just a reminder Pakistan is home to 180 million people. Very resilient people. They would welcome you and be glad to have you among them.
Regards
Omar
