Quick googling gave Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan
They seem to have visa service in Islamabad.

Mani, to enter China on foreign bikes you will need to arrange it as an all inclusive tour, through an approved tour company in China. You will have to be met at the border and accompanied at all times by a gov guide, you will have to pay for him and his vehicle and expenses, you will have to provide a full itinerary of your proposed trip and expect the cost to be several thousand US$ per bike !
Completing these arrangements can take months !
Good luck, UB.

Depends which country you are from. The Japanese were traveling through China and Tibet freely a few years ago.Maybe not so much through Tibet these days.

Mani i would check abit deeper as there are many Pakistanis working and studying in Xinjiang and Pakistan nationals can get a visa to enter Xinjiang easier than a person from say america,England,Germany etc getting your bikes in might be difficult but there are many Pakistan trucks entering Xinjiang all the time.I'd bet those Pakistan truck drivers don't have a Chinese driving license. Why don't you just buy cheap M/C in Kashgar.Want to be careful about your license though.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
