China - Guide recommendations?
 

I have a horrible feeling we're going to go all legit with our trip to Beijing, so I'm on the look out for China guides.

I found the China Adventure Travel Service online and they seem to promise much, but I've read plenty of horror stories about guides, so always best to find out. Has anyone had dealings with them at all? Or with any other agencies?

We're crossing into Tibet on the 27th. Contact me later by email and I'll let you know how it went.

We are going with Transhimalaya. So far they seem fast, efficient and professional, but it's horribly expensive. On the other hand, our lead time was only about a month!
