Buy a vehicle in China?
 

Instead of driving my own car to china and pay a lot of money to a guide etc I got a crazy thought of buying a 4x4 in china instead. Is it even possible as a foreigner? If so, is it possible to visit the neighboring countries with it? Or even drive it home to EU? Anybody done this before?:cool4:

Hi there, you can rent one chinese 4wd and drive around, or drive out the country to visit Laos, Thai and Cambodia. BUT you can't buy one unless you have a Chinese Temporary Resident Card, it requires you to live or work in the country for longer time, six months or longer.
