Burma 2015 anyone?

After the recent successful crossing(s) of Burma; I am looking to incorporate an India to Thailand crossing as part of a UK to Thailand trip in 2015. I know it is still early days, but with the costs involved I thought it would be good to get in early and guage interest. So, if anybody has Burma plans for 2015 and wants to hook up to save money............

Hi

Can work with that but would prefer a month earlier. I will probably leave UK in early May. I have been in touch with Iranian and Pakistan embassies in NZ and they will issue me visas on my NZ passport.

Second half of October may work for me. Anyone else? I know it's still a long way off, just trying to nail down my timings a bit.

I'm planing to cross Burma sometimes in late 2015 together with my girl on my bike and friend one his bike.
Our trip plan is start from Croatia, then Serbia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, India, (Nepal), (Bangladesh), Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, East Timor, Australia, then back
Currently both of us work hard on construction jobs here in Alberta, Canada but chances are big to come back in middle of 2015 and then start trip sometimes at the end of the year...

Hi Wuming,

I am in the early stages of planning a UK to Thailand trip in summer 2015. Currently thinking through northern Europe & Russia to Kazak/Kyrgin August, mainly as it allows linking with a group doing a 30 day tour thru China in September. Iw ould then come into Thailand through Laos.

I would love to do a route through Burma (personally more appealing as I currently live in Thailand & also much cheaper than China) but am less confident about routing through the Iran/Pakistan area being new to multi-country overland.

But I could well be interested if it comes together.

Bump.
Also, as part of this trip, I am planning to cross China from Kyrgyzstan via Xinjiang and Tibet to Nepal. This China section to be completed no later than Oct 1st (to avoid the Chinese holiday chaos). So, anybody with similar plans/timeframes want to split the costs?
Cheers.

I am looking to take about 3 weeks to cross China. The cost depends on the number of people in the group (and whether a 4x4 joins); but as an educated guesstimate, I would say around 1500 UK pounds per vehicle.
