BMW G650 X-Country chain in Bangkok
 

As the title says, I'm looking for a new chain. Mine is dead, very dead, it fell to bits but is bodged and working to some degree right now. I'm going to try the main dealers in the morning but i've dealt with them before and i'm not holding out a lot of hope. Does anyone know of a bike dealer in Thailand I can get a new one? I can probably make my way a few hundred miles in the shape I'm in.

Sorry I don´t remember the names or locations.. but I once had my (Suzuki) bike serviced at a bike workshop in Pattaya, and they said they can get aftermarket parts locally, but OEM parts would be ordered from Singapore and takes 3-4 days.

But if your chain is of a common type, I think you should be able to get it from BKK - you´ll just need to locate any bike shop that handles bigger bikes, and they´ll know where to get them.
