Accommodation recommendations from Delhi to Varanasi
 

Hi fellow hubbers,

We’ve never been disappointed with accommodation recommendations from the HUBB… we’re on the road again – unfortunately without the bike and are travelling from Delhi to Varanasi…. I’m especially looking for a decent place in Varanasi to stay several nights.

Any recommendations much appreciated.

Varanasi Accomodation
 

What do you want from the accomodation in Varanasi because in the centre there are no cars, buses or motorcycles allowed. You can only take rickshaws or walk and it is easy to get lost.

Out side of the centre it is hard to find an affordable place but you probably want to be near the Ghatts (banks of the Ganges) if you don't have your bike. We stayed at hotel Suya which is 10min by auto-rickshaw from the Ghatts and the centre of Varanasi.

I would refer you to the LP or TripAdvisor.com for latest and greatest places at affordable prices.

You can check our map for details of places we stayed and would recommend between Delhi and Varanasi, there are few places that are nice as this is the highest density and poorest area outside of the slums of Mumbai and Delhi.

Enjoy the Ganges and don't take photos of the cremation, burnings along the Ghatts, otherwise you'll have trouble.:nono:
