2-3 weeks out and return to Goa advice please
 

Hi, I'm off to Goa for 8 weeks starting around the 10th October. I've got friends with me for about 3 weeks then I'm on my own. I'm thinking about hiring a bike and heading off somewhere....I've plenty of riding experience so I'm not fussed about iffy roads/traffic etc. But having said that I've just done 13500 miles around eastern Europe so I'd actually like pleasant riding....

I'm looking for suggestions as to where to go, what to see etc. Also if anyone can recommend a bike hire place around Goa I'd be grateful as well!!

Highly recommend Hampi! Also Kerala is very accessible and lovely. Roads down there are pretty decent.

The coastal route between Goa and Bombay (Mumbai) is great. Several interesting sea forts, nice food and peaceful roads since most traffic takes the parallel highway(NH 17). The highway is not too far, so you can just cut across to cover distances faster.
