He also has an extra bedroom or two in his apartment available for travellers and a great motor bike workshop for repairs. It is a great place to hang out as there are travellers moving in and out frequently.

Alex is also interested in buying used motorbikes. So if you are planing to sell your bike in South America after you finish your trip, consider selling it in Belem to Alex.
