what stamps have folks gotten entering ecuador?
 

hola,
currently riding in south america and thinking/hoping to sell my 2001XT in quito at the end of january. it is registered in Chile. Will i get a motorcycle import stamp in my passport when i enter ecuador? what have others gotten upon crossing from peru? anyone sold a bike not registered in ecuador? thanks for any comments!

Hi Ben,

in Ecuador the times and the condiotions are changing very fast.
So it is impossible to say if you can sell your bike there!!

We got our motorcycles stamped into the passport in 1999!
