Warning: Nazca to Cuzco km40

Around kilometer marker 40 en route from Nazca to Cuzco some genius decided to resurface the asphault with something similar to gray marbles. Now, normally this wouldn't be much of a problem except they decided to start it at the apex of a turn (i.e. where you have the greatest lean). There is absolutely no warning of this, and it looks like regular asphault until about 10m ahead. So consider this your warning - be careful!

And here's another warning about a slick algae spot on the road from Nazca to Cusco ... I checked this out last year and sure enough it was as slippery as a congressman ...

Yeah, great bit of road surfacing. My heart missed a beat when i see that gravel. The trouble is you´re too busy looking at the great scenery to notice it to the last minute.
