Want to store bike for at least 8 months (Chile, Argentina, or Uruguay?)

As the title states, I want to store my bike in South America and return in about February. I read that Chile is very difficult with this and won't let you leave the country without the bike?

Argentina allows up to 8 months? Can I extend this when I return because this will be in 8 months and I will want to explore Argentina on the bike.

Uruguay?

Timely responses would be much appreciated as I need to fly home in 2 1/2 weeks and I need to book a flight ASAP.

Cheers.

Safe and Secure Motorcycle parking in Buenos Aires

Trich1237, we can offer you safe and secure motorcycle parking in an upscale neighborhood of buenos Aires. We park motorcycles as a business and you may request an 8 month permit upon entering Argentina.

Our parking facility has security and is open 24/7. Please see our web site: www.Xfiltrate.com - Professional Motorcycle Parking for details.

We look forward to doing business with you and our Argentine bi-lingual assistant Carolina is ready to assist you.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
