Vintage/Veteran Scooters & Bikes in Uruguay
How's the situation with regard to old scooters and motorbikes in Uruguay these days? Has anyone seen anything interesting with two wheels in Montevideo recently?
When I was there three or four years ago, I saw quite a lot of fine, and indeed scabby, specimens. What kind of price are these things fetching these days? |

been there dec/jan and there still some old two wheelers on the road.with internet the prices aren´t really cheap anymore. if you interested you should go to the biker meetings,there quite a few. there you´ll see some fantastic bikes,even home made. saw one build around a nissan 1600 engine. all the best geri |

That looks expensive, the Nimbus, you can get at half the price in the country of origin: Denmark. Some of them fully renovated with original new spareparts.
