Help, I'm currently in Sucre, Bolivia and my ignition coil has failed, Can anyone recommend anywhere to find one, If I have to get one shipped in, has anyone had any experience of the customs here!
Cheers

I am not sure but it should be easy to check out - I would think any 12volt 6ohm resistance twin coil would get you going again (i run two non - standard 6 volt - 3 ohm coils on my 91 gs airhead wired in series)and they work fine they are very common on many vehicles - check it out with a local auto electrician - if thats not possible this link leads to a company that are pretty good and would get you one sent out fairly quickly cant help on the import side of things but try to see if you can get it marked up as a temporary import - then ensure its exported again at the border to get a refund of any import charges. Got to be worth a try.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
