Shipping parts, Customs

Can anybody tell me the country(ies) that are the easiest and cheapest in South America to send motocycle parts and tires too? Lets say I have a tire that is starting to get wore down but can still have enough left to go to nearby country where duties and hassle are less.

Thanks

Well, for example Colombia, you can get most parts and tires, so why send it?

If you do, I suggest you use one of several forwarders in the states. There's ABE cargo in Miami. Its a Colombian run business. They receive what ever you need to ship down at their office in Miami and forward it to an address here in Colombia. Price is approx 15 US for 2,5 pounds. You do not pay tax as they ship the things as sample goods.:thumbup1:

Parts to Colombia

Don't use regular postal service! Took my parts 6 weeks to arrive and they are charging tax. Can I get around the tax with my Aduana paperwork?
