shipping bike back to the states??

I am going to be traveling on a motorcycle purchases in Chile for about 4.5 months in South America and am trying to figure out what I will do with the bike after I am done. My question is this.... Does anyone have a general idea of how much it would cost to send a kawasaki klr650 back to the united states. I would love to ride it but dont think I have the funds... That is unless it would be very expensive to send it back. The bike is registered in Chile and although this question is posted daily... i am unsure how hard it will be to sell the bike in Chile. Anyone who can tell me ballpark figures for shipping a bike to the US from Chile, or advise me as how to sell it in Chile would help much. Thanks, and cheers

I saw a post a few weeks back offering a "free" motorcycle from S. America to the US. The catch was the same situation...someone offered their bike to ride from S.A. to the US.
