Ushuaia for Xmas

It appears as if there may be more than just a few Motorcycle Travellers in Ushuaia for Xmas.
Is there any particular area of town, hotels, etc. where motorcycle travellers tend to gather or stay?
Some information that might make it a little more convenient to visit/gather for a few s.

Till Xmas

Cool

Here are a couple of shots at Bahia Lapatia on Christmas Day, taken after 8.30 in the evening. (because you do not have to pay to enter the park - after 8.0pm.)

X-Mas or New Year

I'll be heading to Ushuaia coming from Santiago around that time. Unfortunately I have only 3 weeks this time round and was wondering what's better, the x-mas or New Years party?

Any past experience?

Cheers

Thumbs up Xmas or New Year

Last year both were much the same, some travellers left just after christmas, others arrived, but most of us left just after new year.
NB. : Christmas meal - Argentinian style is celebrated on Christmas Eve.

Cheers Alec,

Which one are you?

Looks like it was warmer for New Year???

I guess I just have to work out a round trip and then see which way around it fits better

Cheers

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
