For Sale: 2011 Suzuki DR650 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (or Ciudad del Este, Paraguay)

I am currently in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, but it is my understanding that it is easiest to legally buy and sell a motorcycle in Asuncion or Ciudad del Este, Paraguay. Info on this bike may be viewed on my website www.TheAdventureBegins.tv

For more info contact me at: troyfromtexas(at)gmail(dot)com.

In August 2011, I purchased a new 2011 Suzuki DR650 motorcycle for a trip through South America. The motorcycle has a clear title and registration in Austin, Texas, USA. The engine, exhaust, chassis and suspension have been maintained in the original (stock) configuration. This approach was chosen to increase reliability and facilitate repair or replacement of items with original parts while traveling. The modifications to the motorcycle were only made to add durability, safety, comfort and protection. The prices listed below were the original costs of the items. The prices are listed to serve as a reference point for the value of the motorcycle. My asking price for this motorcycle is US$6,000. Optional items valued separately.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
