Reference for Motoadvenutra, Chile

Hi all. I have a trip planned for s. america later this year and have organised to buy an ex rental from Motoadventura in Chile. The correspondence has so far been excellent and the service fantastic. I have requested some referees from them which they have provided but I am wandering if anyone else has dealt with them? I will have to pay a deposit of half up front so making sure they are legit. Some feed back would be much appreciated. Regards rick

I met Horacio from Motoaventura on the street in El Calafate a couple of months ago. He could talk the leg off a table, but he´s cool. Over a and a coffee, he gave me heaps of information on the roads north, and everything he said was correct. He was riding one of his bikes while the rest of his tour group was visiting the Glaciers, and from what I gathered, the bikes are very well looked after, and very well set up. I haven´t done one of his trips, but knowing the bloke, I´d have to give him the nod.
(And you´re probably reading this Horacio, so thanks again for the help. You can put the cheque in the mail!)

I know those guys and they are totally cool. If you can talk Sonya into making her famous empanadas you will be glad you did.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
