Place to ship stuff to in Northern South America

Hey everyone,
We had our boots stolen recently, and I am looking at getting replacements shipped down from the states (been unable to find any locally that fit). Anyone have any suggestions as to places in Columbia/Ecuador/Peru that might be willing to have something like that shipped to them where I could pick it up? (I am currently in Costa Rica)
I have contacted a few hostals that I thought might help, unfortunately no response...
Thanks,
Adrian

Ship to Colombia

Hi Adrian,
You could send the package to Colombia. I am currently in Bogota and I can help you receiving the package and keep it for you till you get here. We are going to stay around here till January. Let me know if this helps so I can give you the address and all the info. PM me to motonomadas@gmail.com

Might be cheaper to get some made locally. Ride safe.

I just remembered there is 2 square city blocks of motorcycle shops etc in Bogota and lots of boots in many of the stores...I bought Argentine police motorcycle boots there for 80USD...

Thanks, unfortunately we passed Monte Verde, we stopped in at San Jose at the Gaerne dealer, who had boots that fit my friends feet, but not mine (size 11)

I have found a Gaerne dealer in Venezuala who I hope can stock the pair that I am looking for, if not, I got word of a good mall in Panama City (Albrook) that has a few moto shops!

Thanks, I agree it would be cheaper, we tried that when they originally got stolen, and part the reason we are looking for boots is the ones we purchased, while cheap, are really poor quality, and as we spend a great deal of time off road, the soles have already gone on both pairs, 2 pairs of laces, and they offer limited protection, not to mention it is very uncomfortable to stand up on the pegs in them :(

I suppose it must be a case of getting what you pay for. Best of luck with your search. I'm on the way up you're on the way down, could be a beer collision. Ride safe.

I think it was. Dissapointing, would have been a good story to ride in them to Ushuaia

plenty of places in San Jose CR, there is a bunch of places all together not far from Paseo Colon that will make something for you, they also make mcycle bags, belts hats, horse saddles, etc.
Ask for the district where they are at one of the bike dealers on Paseo Colon (mainly chinese bike dealers)

PS if you come through Canoas to Panama give me a call as I live 30 mins from there, bikers always welcome to stay!!
