Paperworks for bike-selling in Chile
 

Hi,
my mate and me from Germany are travelling from Columbia to Chile from Novembre 18. to end of January 19. I decided to sell my AT at the end of the journey and already found someone who will buy it in Santiago de Chile. But we don´t know how it will work with the papers. Maybe someone can give us advices how it works and maybe an adress of a lawyer who can help us with it.

Where ist your bike registered?

The bike is registered in Germany. It just passed the 2 year examination (TÜV).

You can't sell it to a local except in the free zones in the north and south. You can sell to another foreigner with a poder or, if they can register it in the EU in their name before arriving in Chile and exchange the bike in between Chile and Argentina
