Wanted: 2 Dual Sport Mortorcycle's

Hi,

My friend and I are planning on traveling to South America this fall/winter (Northern Hemisphere) and will be looking for a couple of motorcycles to take off someone's hands. Our plans, as of now, are very flexible. We can meet almost anywhere in Argentina, Chile, or Peru. Please respond with any information that my be helpful in our efforts to find a couple of bikes down south. Thank you!

I live in Peru and run a Moto Adventure company. One of the things I do for FREE for HUBBers and ADVRiders is to purchase two new Chinese bikes and set them up for you, paperwork and all for when you arrive so you can take right off and enjoy South America.

This model is a VERY good copy of the Honda XR250 Tornado. I own 3 of them and have rode one hard for more than 2,000 km on and off road and can tell you that they are tough!

You can be on your way for less than $2,000 each and I will buy them back from you after your trip!

Cheers! Toby

Hi there,

You might be in luck. We are currently traveling South on a pair of DR650s and are looking to sell them in Argentina in December 2014 (not sure of exact date, but probably later in the month). Take a look at the bikes and let us know if this is what you were looking for. Our plan is to sell them pretty much "adventure-ready" - with racks, luggage, tent, cooking gear etc.

Bike info
Maintenance log

Cheers,
Wolf & Zebra

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
