Lima Peru - bike and gear storage
 

I'm looking for advise on storing my bike and gear in Lima Peru for 6 weeks from march 17th to may 1st.
Has anyone stored their bikes in Lima? What did you do?
Are there self storage units to rent that can fit a bike?
I have to return home (unexpectedly) for 6 weeks then continue my trip in may, any advise on storing my bike, bags, and riding gear would be helpful

I might be in the same boat on 14 Apr. Think I have a friend of a friend sorted, but would be good to have a back up in case that doesn't work out.
