Leaving a bike to fly out?

Which SA countries do not stamp your cycle in your passport, thereby allowing one to leave for awhile then return to continue the journey? Or is there some other method to accomplish this? And how long could I leave the bike without being penalized for not paying import duties? Thanx

That is where I wanted to leave it anyway, probably at Dakar Moto.

Leaving bike in Argentina

I've been into Argentina with my Chilean moto(I'm from USA) many times and always thought they had a connection with me and passport and I could not leave moto and fly out. After reading comments here, I looked closer at passport and it does NOT show that moto is in the country as is done in Central America. I would like to know how you turn our as far as leaving the country without bike. It would open up travel opportunity for many of us.
