hey Im annoyed too

Jeez I AM ANNOYED TOO................................
Why dont we all send postcards to the correct person in Argentina, even to a newspaper.HEY both places..there are lots of us all over the world.....no problem to us but it might make someone sit up and tell these guys to take it easy and save one of us this happening again....we have lots of details..I can write in perfect Spanish..you can all paste or copy it onto a postcard..?? lets get together and flex our muscle....!
If someone or you GATOGATO gives me the police address I will type the details from the original post and we can send them off..no return address on a postcard for those of you scared so no comebacks....

Well not only few foreigner moto travellers are stop by this corrupts police, also we (locals) suffer all this troubles, as well cars trucks.....the only difference are than to us they ask bribes in pesos and not in dollars. Some of us learn from the kindergarten how to dill all this matters and I personally believe than the best tip are “Know the Law, Don’t broke it, and look sure about what you are talking”
In fact in Entre Rios Province they calm down a little because they was cached by a hidden camera from a national TV news show last year, not like in Corrientes Province than are to far from BA…All this troubles always are created by the Provincials Polices than are not relatives to Federal Police.
Some years a go in behalf for another Traveller we call the Tourist Police, a department of the Federal Police here in BA and they didn’t wont to take the reclaim and didn’t know where to send us….
IMHO Here in Argentina if you don’t appear in the big media (TV) and they have better stuff to sale…you don’t exist…they don’t will care for few dirty bikers riding along the 14 route bribed because what ever….

Saludos.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
