Good Info on Buying a Car or Bike in Chile
 

Hi there,

I posted a link sometime a go to some information on how to buy a car in Chile. However, I've now moved the post from one blog to another and can't be bothered with 301 redirects etc.

I found the best site where to get all forms of vehicles from and have translated the info pages for you all.

I live in Santiago and am married to a Chilean women, so any info you need just ask, I'll try to help. We know a very very cheap lawyer if you need one who speaks English. He said he can travel to Valparaiso if people are having trouble with customs (he was honest by saying he's never done that stuff before, but he's cheap and speak English).

I saw your post on Horizons Unlimited. I am a motorcycle rider living in Thailand and working in Burma on HIV treatment program. For 38 years I have been traveling in the States, Asia Africa and recently Europe on a two wheeler. I would like to buy in or around southern Chile and then drive the bike north to central america. Can you help me I travel two up with my small 110 pounds Chinese wife.
