Customs info for Peru or Bolivia
 

Hello,
We are leaving on October the 10th and are thinking of shipping our bikes to Lima or Lapaz. Does anyone have any experience with the customs agents in either of those places.

We originally were going to ship to Santiago Chilie because we heard Customs was easy there. We got stuck once in Venzuela for a week getting our bikes out when we shipped them there from cota rica so are a bit wary of the customs process.

Also, any recommended shippers and any other information would be greatly appreciated!!!

well we shipped our two bikes to Valparaiso Chile (Santiago) and the only problem we had was that our two bikes were in one box. But in the end, we got them out within one day. So it is not such a big deal.
About the other countries I don`t know. But maybe ask the people from www.touratech.de, they even made a movie about a trip in Bolivia starting from La Paz. So they have certainly experiance with the bolivian costums.
