Customs clearing in Brazil

We are planning a trip through South America for a year from South Africa starting in Soa Paulo, Brazil. We have found an agent that can pack and fly the bike into Soa Paulo but we are not sure how to clear the bike at customs in Brazil. Can you recommend someone to assist us?

As per 'Horizons unlimited' no carnet is needed.. Will this create a problem to clear the motorbike in Brazil and to fly the bike back to South Africa in a years time?

Kind regards

Best advice is to forget about shipping to Brazil! Too much hassle. Bureaucracy at seaports is about the worst in the world, airports slightly better but still better to be avoided. With or without a CdP makes no difference.
If you do go for it be prepared for days/weeks/months of stampcollecting and funding of the many officials you will meet on the way...
Go for e.g.Buenos Aires or Asuncion instead.
Landbordercrossing are no problem at all and about the easiest you can get on a RTW trip.
