Camping on the Brazilian Coast
I am currently making my way to the coast and am meeting a friend in Rio. Originally I was planning on having her bring my camping stuff so we can cruise down the coast from Salvador to Rio camping on the beaches. However, after talking to various people I get the impression that either there are no places to camp or people don't camp (maybe security?).
How feasible is it to cruise down the coast and camp in between Salvador and Rio? Not "stealth" camping either but instead just setting up a tent and hanging about on the beach (instead of hiding). Is it worth hauling camping stuff around or are there few opportunities to use it? How about establish campgrounds? Any useful sites anyone know of?
Thanks in advance and I'm looking forward to the coast! :Beach:
I always camp when traveling around brazil ,heres a site that maybe of some use to you ,ride safe CAMPING CLUB DO BRASIL
