Budget - per day
 

Could some of you please help me out by giving me an indication of what I should budget per day for South America. I know that is a tough question given that it depends on the country, the level of "comfort" one is after etc. But lets say sleeping in very basic accomodation, plus food, plus 150kms worth of petrol per day.

Any help much appreciated.

In the most of the Southamerica countrys you will spend around 30 dollars per day.

It's my understanding that the Guyanas are in a much higher cost bracket.
