Unhappy broken RAM mount for Garmin Zumo 400

Does anyone know where I can get an repair or "new" RAMmount (holder on motorbike) for my Garmin Zumo 400.
The connectionblock between the GPS and holder is probably corroded after getting rain in it.
Was opend in Motevideo but no replacement or repair possible there.
Now just before Salta and from there heading into Bolivia Potosi, Uyuni and Chile.
Now I can only run on battery.
Any suggestions?

Kenny, you can get a new mount in BA and the shop can ship it to Salta.

Hi Manolito,
thanks but it leaves me with some problems still.
Which shop, and I don't have too much time, only got 3 months.
So a waiting time in Salta is a no go.

Was actually hoping for a Garmin shop in Salta or a "handyman" who could repair it or make a workaround the corroded block.

You can try here : Costanera Uno, GPS Garmin Argentina but I understand your situation.

You can go to a hardware store (Ferreteria) and ask for Poxilina. I think that in english it's called expoy. It's not going to look good but it might work.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
