A BMW R1200RT tire in La Paz, Mx?
Hi all,
I just received word that friends of mine are stranded north of La Paz Mexico with a bad rear tire on their BMW R1200RT. Does anyone know if there is a tire shop in La Paz that might stock a 180/55/17 tire? I suppose their next best option would be to have a tire shipped to them when they make it to La Paz... Many thanks, Steve in So Cal |

there's a honda shop called Baja Motos in La Paz on the main drag just outside the main beach area. They helped me replace my rear shock back in October 2005 and I remember they had a carnage of bikes in the back and I seem to remember a couple older BMW's, so even if he doesn't have a new one he might have one that will let your buddy get home or to the border. Nice guys at the shop and very helpful
