Bike(s) Wanted in Santiago
 

Hey everyone, I'm a student studying Spanish in Santiago for a year and was hoping to find some altirnateves to relying on the public transportation around Santiago. A friend of mine and I are also planning a week-long trip to Argentina later this October and both of us would like to do it on bikes.

That said, being students, we don't have a whole lot of money. We're looking for two older bikes that will be low of maintainance and cost. We have about $2000US each for something in the 400cc range, though we are also open to the idea of a 250cc city-commuter type bike.

We'd prefer some sort of dual-sport/enduro model, late '80s and in decent shape.

Ok, thanks for the help, although I've listed specifics the both of us just need to get back on a bike and as long as it won't explode under us we're going to be happy.
