Santiago - Cheap rooms with parking

Can anyone recommend and cheap biker friendly hostals in Santiago, with parking?

Any advice would be most appriciated.

I know one biker that was there and he recommends this place.

You could try the SOS hostel near the train station in down town Santiago.
Scott the owner can be found at the station most days handing out flyers for the hostel. He has parking for about 6 or 7 bikes, I was there in march with my girlfriend it was clean and tidy and we were able to service the bikes there.Sorry i can't find the address but i think that they are in the lonely planet and have a web address. I´m in Porta Natales, then heading up to the glacier, so am a week or so away. Keep me posted as it´d be good to meet up if it pans out. Are you heading south or north?

hi Iain, I'm heading south but not sure how far down I'm going to go. Are you coming up through Chile or Argentina? Which route do you think you'll take as I might meet you on the way down

Where are you now, I´m through Santiago now and in La Serena, a very nice old town in Chile, before heading up to the Atacama.
