Bike Blessing - Copacabana, Bolivia
 

My life will never be the same.

I've just had my bike blessed by a priest in Copacabana on lake Titicaca.

Absolutely unbeliveable. Totally weird.

I now feel truly bonded to my bike.

I have to give him a name.

It was 10 bols for the prayers (2 to 3 minutes = good value), 10 for the flowers, 3 for the fireworks and 12 for the champagne.

I nearly did it again today to get double protection but went to Isla del Sol instead.

I did too! I poured beer on mine so the flower pedals would stick then let off a pack of firecrackers. I might go to church at home if they had beer and firecrackers. no problems or major crashes since the blessing. I wish I could get them all blessed!
