Best place to buy tires?

Answered my own question. ThereLs lots of motorcycle shops inm Guatemala City selling parts at US prices. Unlike the rip off 90% ish import tax in Costa Rica. I just got me some nice and knobby pirellis.

I'm heading to south america, currently in Guatemala. It looks like I'll be needing new tyres somewhere around ecuador. Hopefully knobbies for a KLR 650.

Any tips on the best country/place to buy some?

Hi Toby

You'll find tyres in Quito, I'm pretty sure of that. But if you fly out of Panama, why not get them there? Or in Costa Rica's San José, where there's plenty.
