The Bogota beer company makes the beer for the Irish pub,I think their beer is pretty good, nice and hoppy but it doesn,t have the full bodied flavor of mine, the malt they use is from Chile but mine is from the UK and you just cant beat the quality of the British malt. When you make it down to Quito we,ll see if you agree!!!

albert,

just wanted to say thanks for the help in quito. from sites to see, roads south, great beers and a place to do an oil change, you came through with all.

to those folks on the road who need some guidance while in quito, look albert up at the turtle's head.

thanks again,

mark and erin

Don't be a fool!

do yourself a favor and hook up with albert while in quito. albert is the greatest and took time out of his day to call and then drive me to the tire shop for some much needed new rubber. if the food and beer isn't enough (and it is really good) that f-ing accent will be!

Good Man in Quito

Hey Folks,

We have spent some time in Quito on our way South to Argentina and Albert´s pub is a great place to relax and have a pint. I´d go as far as
saying it is a must stop for any overland moto adventures while in Quito!
And as far as the proprietor is concerned well what can I say, but that Albert
is one of those individuals who make this riding lifestyle so much fun.
Be sure to need some assistance while in town, tires oil whatever, he´s
sure to help however he can and you might get to rip aroun town with
him, trying to catch up to him on his SM is a gas! :scooter:

GO!!!!!!! Albert

Albert, Dick and I had a great time at the Turtle's Head. We would highly recommend your place as a wonderful stop along the way. The warm and quaint atmospere were only exceeded by the beauty of your good looking girls. I'm sorry you have it so tough every day!. (Dick, the girls, and Bo)

Free publicity

With all the free publicity, courtesy in the main, it would appear, of passing US citizens, that Albert is getting from our HUBB. Pehaps the least he could do is either take out an advert on our web site like other commercial concerns that view bikers as a potential source of income do so supporting HU or reduce the very high prices that he charges to passing HU members.

p.s. Remember if you want really good up to date info on SA in general, Ecuador in particular and you cannot meet up with a fellow biker heading the other way, Ricardo Rocco is the man to ask.

Ride safe.
