Hernan,

The package has not been delivered and no one is answering the phone in Miami or in Bolivia. The Bolivian cell phone is shut off.

What is going on????

and here is a direct quote of their entire response:

That ****ing package was sent yesterday and the info is below. I do call you many times and seems that you dont want to answer your phone. So stop putting pressure on us, we are doing the best to do our job regarless of the strikes and riots that are happening here in Bolivia.
Do you know anything about insurance ?

Andi.
Your package was sent yesterday.

Hernan
Not sure why you are cursing at your customer. I merely asked what was going on. How am I supposed to know there are riots in Bolivia??? And as for me not answering my phone perhaps it is because I'm out of the country and it is shut off. Maybe you should've tried sending an email like I did.

Up until your last email I was very happy with your service. Now...

Let's hope the package arrives and we can just go our separate ways.

You should learn to have patience with your customers. They ARE your business.

Saludos

and his response:

Im in business 14 years and business is growing rapidly, but i dont need customers thatt are in my back every minute !!!

so, lesson learned? anti-semitism and racism are alive and well even in friggin pissant bolivia, and don't use btc cargo express.

despite all his bullshit, andi did recieve the package, albeit late. the reason was allegedly that there were strikes and riots in la paz, which very well may be true. what is unforgivable is his lack of communication and the way he treats his customers.

also, despite his "cheap jew" rant, i didn't save any money, andi did, and last i checked, he wasn't jewish, unless of course he converted somewhere in the atacama or altiplano. and his service was only marginally cheaper than DHL.

Is the guy you dealt with the owner of the company? I would think the owner would be in Miami? Dunno?

If you can find the BIG BOSS (owner) I'd send him the above transcript of your "conversation" to show him how his employee treats clients. I have a feeling he'll quickly be out of a job ... but who knows? I've met some Bat-Shit-Whacko Cubans in Miami ... so no idea on that.

I have a feeling the international cargo shipping business drives people insane.

he is the owner and is in bolivia. the way most of these couriers work, here in miami anyway, is by having an office, usually shared, near the airport in some warehouse. you drop of the box or have it dropped shipped to them and it is consolidated in a larger shipment. the address in miami for this turkey is also listed to several other couriers. this is not a big deal usually.

right now, i'm batting 600 with these couriers. three good (Transfer Cargo - Envíos - Carga - Paquetes - desde Miami al Ecuador, panorama travel to nicaragua (no website) & Peru Courier) two bad (these guys and MACOB Courier).

As the recipient of teevees fine work I appreciate it beyond belief and we are very grateful to have a great amigo who can and will help.

As a recipient of dealing with these guys I am gobsmacked.

Their promise of delivery was nearly one week late, there were protests etc in La Paz, I can cut them slack for that as it was beyond their control.

In between time we called dozens of times on by land and cell, and we emailed because because no one would pick up on either.

I finally got a email saying it would be delivered the following week from when it supposed to, they also said they would contact me as soon as they could send to get the place to send it too.

Fast forward 4 more days I had not heard a word, we rang time and again and all phone comms were no go so I emailed them again saying hey please advise when it will be sent.

This was the reply

Andi.

No contact name or phone or email, I guess I should have been grateful they just sent it to Sucre into the wild blue yonder.

A quick email back to them saying a phone number please and a contact if possible set the new level of unpleasant customer service much along the lines to teevee although they were only nasty to me rather than racist and obnoxious.

Now I try and play the grateful card here but another weeks accommodation adds up, the lack of response / communication starts to get to you then the abuse that followed is bloody unacceptable.

teevee is tough but the way he and I was treated is something you wouldn't expect from a neanderthal let alone a business person.

Personally I feel more for teevee getting an unnecessary swatting than us with our late delivery, at the end of the day I am grateful to have the parts but the unnecessary racist bashing teevee received is despicable to say the least.

Anyway, that is the long and short of it, I would suggest to anyone to work with anybody else accept these guys as they are full of shit and you will likely get bashed if something goes wrong as they hide under the cover of a barrage of unnecessary abuse.
