Any moto travelers in Colombia?
 

Me and my buddy are on a road trip from San Francisco to Argentina. Last Friday we met with an unfortunate accident that left my friend on a cane and his bike thoroughly munched.

Fortunately everything is fixable and his bruised led just needs some time to heal.

Unfortunately I have to be in Lima, Peru to pick up my girlfriend in a couple weeks. Given the time frame I will barely make it and she is not able to change her ticket.

If there are any riders in the area who may be here around mid Nov when my friend recuperates I would really appreciate it if he might be able to join your party until we catch up again in either Peru or Bolivia in December.

Sorry to hear about the wreck, I hope Vlad is doing ok, didn't see any details on your website...if you need any assistance from SF (ie, bike parts, etc.) let me know.

Thanks Dave. Good to hear from you. Yeah...you probably wont see any of this on the site at the moment while Vlad recovers. At the moment we're stuck in Ibague, Colombia which is about halfway btwn Bogota and Cali. No tourists here so we've become something of a spectacle to the locals. Fun but need to get back on the road.
