Any offers for a place to pitch my tent Bolivia, Chilie or Argentena?

Hey Everyone,

With my financial situation being beyond depresing these days I was hoping there may be some fellow riders out there who woudnt mind me pitching my tent at their place, if of course its on my route down.

basically I m heading through Bolivia, then into chilie Argentina and down to the bottom.

Any offers really welcome

Also I have added a new post on my site

Global Enduro

thanks

Simon

With just a quick look I found a bunch of cheap options for you in Bolivia alone.

Dakar Motos

Dakar Motos in Buenos Aires has a very cheap hostel or camping for 30 pesos a night (about £4.50)

Damn inflation, Dakar Motos went from 24 to 30 in a few month. For 30 you can have a good single room in the Provincia.

Argentina is a big country with few population, so it s fairly easy to find a place to pitch your tent at dawn. You can find showers in service stations. Try to contact local motorcycle clubs before getting to a town, you will almost always find a bed and friendly sincere welcome.

I can t agree more with you, quoting "generosity" is a strange concept, but appearantly it s possible . Anyways, i think the poster is more looking for non monetary generosity, which is far from being rare in Argentina.

campgrounds in Argentina

I want to amend my previous message. You do have to pay for showers in Estaciones de Servicio. About 4 pesos.

The better option is public campgrounds, which cost 2 to 15 pesos . Here is a usefull link : Voydecamping.com.ar - Guia de Camping en Internet

I hope this helps.

Philippe
